Refund Policy

1. Preview before you pay

For the three reports, uploading your document and reviewing the cost preview is free. Payment is only requested when you choose to purchase the full certified report.

For the 3D Estimate, the model and the total cost are free. The $295 purchase of the full breakdown and a Bill of Quantities is paid before the Bill of Quantities is prepared, so the refund terms below apply to it as a whole.

2. When we refund

• If your report fails to generate or download after payment and we cannot deliver it to you, we refund the full amount.
• If the report contains a material error caused by our process (not by the documents supplied), we will correct and reissue it, or refund it.
• If you were charged more than once for the same report, we refund the duplicate immediately.
• For a 3D Estimate purchase, if the Bill of Quantities cannot be prepared and delivered to you, we refund the purchase in full.

3. How to request one

Email hello@clearcost.au with the reference shown on your report or receipt within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.

4. Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
