Refund Policy

1. Preview before you pay

ClearCost is built so you never pay blind: uploading your plans and reviewing the cost preview is free. Payment is only requested when you choose to purchase the full certified report.

2. When we refund

• If your report fails to generate or download after payment and we cannot deliver it to you, we refund the full amount.
• If the report contains a material error caused by our process (not by the documents supplied), we will correct and reissue it, or refund it.
• If you were charged more than once for the same report, we refund the duplicate immediately.

3. How to request one

Email hello@clearcost.au with your report reference (CC-EDC-…, shown on your report and receipt) within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days.

4. Your consumer rights

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
